Description
This course provides students with an introduction to behavioural economics, the cutting-edge economics discipline that draws on insights and methods from other social sciences including psychology, sociology and anthropology to better understand economic and business decisions. Students will focus on new methods of enquiry and the theories and insights that they generate. The aim is to provide them with skills and knowledge to enable them to apply these methods and theories to real world economic, business and policy issues.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Economics or Master’s degree in business administration with advanced levels of Microeconomics and intermediate level of Behavioural Economics courses in their degree.
- Preferably with some teaching experience in Microeconomics and Behavioural Economics modules
- Have a solid understanding of both standard economics theory and behavioural economics.
- Have received specific training in Behavioural Economics or experimental economics will be a plus
- Have knowledge and experience of using software such as Qultrics survey platform and Excel
