By accessing courses provided by Behavioral Science Solutions Ltd (‘Behavioral Economics Academy’ or ‘BE Academy’) on BehavioralEconomics.com, or by downloading the Behavioral Economics Guide (‘BE Guide’) on this site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site or the BE Guide. The materials contained on BehavioralEconomics.com’s website and the BE Guide are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Use License
For BE Academy Courses:
Permission is granted to view all learning materials (text, images, videos, etc.) at any time and to download one copy of any downloadable course materials (PDFs) on the BehavioralEconomics.com website for personal use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials;
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the BehavioralEconomics.com website;
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials;
- Transfer the materials to another person or ‘mirror’ the materials on any other server.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by BehavioralEconomics.com at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession, whether in electronic or printed format.
For BE Guide:
When downloading the BE Guide, you agree not to distribute, share, sell, or provide access to the BE Guide to any third parties without prior written consent from Behavioral Science Solutions Ltd. Any violation of these restrictions may result in legal action.
3. Duration of Access
Upon enrollment in a course, you will have access to your learner account and course materials for the lifetime of the course. For the BE Guide, you are granted access to the downloaded version for personal use. In the case of a discontinuation of the course or the BE Guide by BehavioralEconomics.com, learners and users will be notified 30 days before the termination.
4. Disclaimer
The materials on the BehavioralEconomics.com website, including the BE Guide, are provided ‘as is’. BehavioralEconomics.com makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, BehavioralEconomics.com does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or the BE Guide, or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
5. Limitations
In no event shall BE Academy be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on BehavioralEconomics.com’s website or the BE Guide, even if BehavioralEconomics.com or an authorized representative of BehavioralEconomics.com has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. BehavioralEconomics.com has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by BE Academy of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user’s own risk.
8. Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with our courses and materials. If you’re not satisfied with your BE Academy course, you are entitled to a thirty (30) day refund from the date of purchase. Upon cancelling the course and obtaining a refund, any certificate of completion becomes null and void and course materials can no longer be used. The download of the BE Guide is non-refundable once accessed. We reserve the right to refuse refunds to customers who abuse this Refund Policy.
9. Deletion
You may delete your account at any time by emailing academy@behavioraleconomics.com or info@behavioraleconomics.com. If your account is deleted (regardless of the reason), your content may no longer be available. BehavioralEconomics.com is not responsible for the loss of such content upon deletion. Upon deletion of your account (regardless of the reason), all licenses granted by BehavioralEconomics.com will terminate.
10. Privacy
Use of BE Academy courses is subject to our separate Privacy Policy.
11. Terms of Use Modifications
BehavioralEconomics.com may revise these Terms of Use for its website and downloadable materials at any time without notice. By using this website or downloading the BE Guide, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Use.
12. Governing Law
Any claim relating to BehavioralEconomics.com’s website and downloadable materials shall be governed by the laws of BehavioralEconomics.com’s home jurisdiction without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
