The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation that works to build better policies for better lives. Its goal is to shape policies that foster prosperity, equality, opportunity and well-being for all. The aims of the OECD is to develop international standards and promote policies designed: (i) to achieve the highest sustainable economic growth and employment and a rising standard of living in Member countries, while maintaining financial stability, and thus to contribute to the development of the world economy; (ii) to contribute to sound economic expansion in members as well as non-members countries in the process of economic development; and (iii) to contribute to the expansion of world trade on a multilateral, non-discriminatory basis in accordance with international obligations. The OECD carries out significant workstreams on both behavioural science and strategic foresight in multiple policy areas throughout the organisation.
