Jury Analyst is a revolutionary jury selection system based on the strategies of the nation's top trial lawyers and consultants. Our mission is to collaborate with legal professionals to pursue justice for our clients through extensive knowledge and experience. We conduct research in a virtual setting to save time and money, and provide large and laser-targeted sample groups that better represent the pool of jurors for faster, more accurate results.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Behavioral Scientist located in California, United States, with flexibility for some remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research to study human behavior, attitudes, and decision-making, and applying findings to support legal strategies in trial preparation. They will work collaboratively with data scientists, attorneys, and other legal professionals.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field.
  • Mastery of research methods and design, including experimental and quasi-experimental designs, and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from diverse sources (qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary), and synthesize complex information to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex results to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience designing and conducting research with diverse populations, including underrepresented groups and vulnerable populations is preferred.
  • Experience applying research findings to legal strategies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology is a plus.
